JEE Advanced 2025 Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for JEE Advanced 2025, candidates must meet the following five criteria:
1. Performance in JEE (Main) 2025:
Only the top 2,50,000 candidates (across all categories) from the B.E./B.Tech paper of JEE Main 2025 are eligible.
2. Age Limit:
Candidates must be born on or after October 1, 2000.
A five-year relaxation applies to SC, ST, and PwD candidates.
3. Number of Attempts:
Candidates can attempt JEE Advanced a maximum of two times in consecutive years.
4. Class 12 Qualification:
Candidates must have appeared for Class 12 (or equivalent) in 2024 or 2025 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
Those who passed in 2023 or earlier are ineligible.
5. IIT Admission Status:
Candidates who have previously been admitted to any IIT through JoSAA are not eligible, even if they later withdrew or left the program.
Eligibility Criteria for Foreign Nationals
Foreign national candidates must follow different qualification standards. Those without Indian citizenship or whose parents are non-Indian fall under this category.
OCI/PIO Candidates who obtained their cards before March 4, 2021, will be treated as Indian nationals for IIT admission.
Foreign nationals are not eligible for reservations.
They must have completed 10+2 education.
Around 10% of seats are reserved for international students.

The JEE Advanced 2025 application process begins after the JEE Main Session 2 results. Candidates must follow these steps:

Log in using JEE Main 2025 roll number and password.
Fill in personal details, contact information, and address.
Select up to eight preferred exam cities.
Upload scanned passport-size photo and signature.
