JEE Advanced 2025: Eligibility Criteria

The minimum eligibility requirements to apply for JEE Advanced 2025 are as follows:

1. JEE Main 2025 Qualification

Candidates must qualify for JEE Main 2025 and rank among the top 2,50,000 candidates to be eligible for JEE Advanced 2025. The category-wise distribution is as follows:

4. Qualifying Examination

Candidates must secure at least 75% marks in Class 12 (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics). For SC/ST candidates, the minimum requirement is 65%.

5. Previous Admissions at IITs

Candidates who have already been admitted to or pursued any program at an IIT or ISM are ineligible for JEE Advanced 2025. However, candidates who:

  • Were offered IIT seats in JoSAA 2024 but did not report,

  • Canceled their admission before the last round,

  • Were admitted to the preparatory course, are eligible to apply.
