NEET 2024: AIIMS Cut Off Details for Colleges and Categories Released

AIIMS NEET 2024 Cut-off

There are 25 AIIMS colleges across India out of them 20 are functional and 5 are proposed or under construction. AIIMS Delhi is the oldest medical college in India. It is popular for its MBBS program and among the top choice of medical students. To be eligible for admission to AIIMS Delhi candidates must be ranked among the top 50 candidates in the general category in overall ranking. MCC has released the cut-off for AIIMS colleges in the form of ranking the category-wise details of the cut-off given below:

AIIMS NEET 2024 Cut-off Round 1

The Medical Counselling Committee has released the latest opening and closing ranks of admission to the MBBS program at AIIMS. The opening and closing rank for MBBS admission is 1 and 47 for general category candidates. While the opening and closing rank for other AIIMS lies between 1 and 4531 (AIIMS Madurai). However, the OBC closing rank for AIIMS Delhi is 148.

College-Wise AIIMS Cut-off NEET 2024

AIIMS NEET 2024 cut-off marks for each category are different. The general category has the highest cut-off and rank followed by OBC, SC, and ST. The cut-off tells the minimum marks to be scored by the candidates to be eligible for admission to AIIMS colleges across the country. 

The cut-off marks depend on several factors such as the number of applicants, the number of seats available and the difficulty level of the exam. The cut-off marks for NEET 2024 surpass the 2023 cut-off as the number of candidates who took the test increases tremendously making the competition level very high. Factor Determining AIIMS NEET Cut-off

NEET cut-off for AIIMS depends on the following factors:

  1. Difficulty Level of Exam: A difficult exam leads to a higher cut-off. The difficulty level of the exam directly impacts the cut-off marks.
  2. Number of Applicants: The more the number of applicants the higher will be the cut-off.
  3. Availability of Seats: More number of seats leads to fewer cut-off marks.
